Another simple recipe that even the little ones in your family will love!
2 lbs. ground beef, browned and drained
1 medium yellow onions, diced
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
4 oz. canned or fresh mushrooms, sliced (sauté with beef and onions if using fresh)
1/2 tsp. kosher salt or to taste
1/2 tsp. black pepper or to taste
1 C. beef broth
3 Tbs. tomato paste
1 C. sour cream
parmesan cheese, garnish
dried parsley, garnish
In medium skillet, saute beef with onions, garlic, and fresh mushrooms (if not using canned product). Combine this with all other ingredients, except sour cream, and place in crock pot. Cook on low 5-6 hours, depending on your crock pot’s cooking temperature. Mix in sour cream when cooking time is complete and serve over white rice or wide egg noodles. Garnish with parmesan cheese and parsley.
